Affiliate keywords are the real deal when we talk about affiliate marketing.

Commercial Keywords:

Commercial keywords are mostly used for paid advertising strategies and campaigns as per the definition of Semrush blog.

The best way to know whether a keyword is commercial or not is to type it in Google and see what type of results you get.

If the first three to four websites are tagged as “AD”, then it means that this specific keyword is commercial.

You will only need to worry about informational and affiliate keywords as a beginner.

However, as your website starts growing, you will need commercial keywords if you want to run paid campaigns and advertisements.
